Seamless Aluminium Guttering Components

What are the benefits of seamless aluminium guttering compared to traditional gutters?

  • Fabricated on-site to suit the precise measurements of your building.
  • Manufactured using British Board of Agrément (BBA) approved aluminium coil, coated on both sides for maximum durability.
  • Shaped by a specialist mobile rolling machine into a 5” (125mm) ogee-style gutter. The only joints are at corners and end caps, there are none in the running length. No joints = no leaks!

As well as manufacturing and installing your gutters, InterCounty Rainwater can also offer supply-only seamless aluminium guttering services for those who don’t need support with installation.

What are the benefits of seamless aluminium guttering?

There are several benefits of seamless aluminium guttering, including its durability, aesthetic appeal and sustainability. Here’s a more detailed breakdown:

    • No joints = no leaks: With no joints in the running length of the gutter, there’s nowhere for rainwater to deposit, build up and leak!
    • No rust or rot: Due to aluminium’s high corrosion-resistance, your seamless gutters will never rust or rot like other metal or wooden alternatives.
    • Aesthetic appeal: Aluminium is widely appreciated for its sleek, contemporary appeal, adding a modern touch to any building.
    • Low-maintenance: No painting required!
    • Highly durable: Aluminium is strong enough to take a leaning ladder and the deep 5” (125mm) size handles stormy weather with ease.
    • Excellent snow-loading capacity: Snow-loading capacity is the maximum weight of accumulated snow that a gutter can safely support without structural failure.
    • Made-to-measure: Our seamless aluminium gutters can be custom-made on-site to fit the exact measurements of your building.
    • Sustainable: Aluminium is a naturally abundant, non-carbon material which is easy to recycle – unlike PVC, which is the subject of many environmental concerns. Read more about the eco-friendliness of aluminium guttering via our blog.

How does seamless aluminium guttering handle heavy rain and water flow?

The deep, broad Ogee design incorporated into our seamless aluminium guttering has around three times the flow capacity of conventional half-round plastic gutters – handling heavy rain and water flow with ease. Find out more about the pros of aluminium gutters vs the cons of plastic gutters via our blog.

How long does seamless aluminium guttering last before needing replacement?

With a 2-year warranty and 30+ year life expectancy, our seamless aluminium guttering works out cheaper in many ways. Virtually maintenance-free, you should never need to replace them!

Fun fact: The first ever installations we did (on Knowle Street in Stalybridge) are still going strong, even after 30+ years after installation!

What should I look for when choosing a seamless aluminium guttering installer?

    • Experience: Hiring an experienced company ensures a secure, leak-free installation that protects your building from rainwater damage for years to come. Our family-run business has over 40 years of experience and a great reputation that comes from decades of excellent customer service. You can learn more about us here.
    • No pressure-selling: At InterCounty Rainwater, we pride ourselves on our products and services, and we respect our clients. We provide the quote, you decide. We believe that you will choose us based on the quality of the product and service we provide!
    • Widespread coverage: Finding an installer who’s local to you is very important, as it keeps costs down and speeds up project turnaround times. Based in Hyde, Greater Manchester (SK14 4QF) we install seamless aluminium guttering in all areas within 60 miles of our premises.

How much does seamless aluminium guttering typically cost to install?

While the cost can vary, here are a few key factors to consider:

    • Quantity: The amount, measurements and specific sizes of the seamless aluminium guttering you need will directly influence the price.
    • Project size & complexity: The bigger and more complex your project is, the more resources and staff we will need to complete the job in a timely manner. E.g. a 2-bedroom, semi-detached house is likely to cost less than a 4-bedroom, detached house as there is less area to cover.
    • Location in relation to our offices: If your project is based far away in relation to our offices, part of the cost may be used to cover travel.

Despite aluminium being a superior material, seamless aluminium guttering prices are very competitive. Quick and easy to install, keeping labour costs down, there are plenty of savings to be made in the overall lifespan of the installation.
