Due to the extreme weather we have been having- very high temperatures then very heavy rainfall, plastic gutters will have expanded/ contracted and most likely have started leaking at the joints. With BBA approved seamless aluminium gutters as they are manufactured on site and have no joints in the running lengths they dont have any areas to leak
