It’s something of a tired old joke that it ‘always rains in Manchester’.
In some of the areas we install our seamless aluminium gutters – central Lancashire, Cumbria and the Pennine areas – there is above average rainfall, but by the time you reach the south of our patch – Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Derbyshire and south and west Yorkshire – it is starting to peter out.
Nevertheless, we have in Britain as a whole over the last few years seen unprecedented downpours – long and intense periods of rain which have overwhelmed many rainwater disposal systems; and these sudden inundating deluges can strike anywhere. We have seen floods from Yorkshire to Berkshire to Somerset to Surrey and more, and railway lines washed away in sunny Devon.

In short, our gutters are far more reliable and much less likely to be overwhelmed when subjected to heavy rain.
